The Desert Railway links Castle Village Outpost to the rest of the Crimson Badlands providing foot transport from Castle Village for their Adventurer Guild members who keep watch at the outpost.
Upon first entering the railway cave, the guild member from Castle Village, Alesia will introduce her fellow monster hunter Isaac to the player. This event unlocks several late game features, including both hunter's rotational schedules, as well as the shop run by Camilla.
NPC pathing does not occur here, making it a safe place to store chests for Crimson Badlands supplies.
