Stardew Valley Expanded offers a number of configuration options for player preference.

Run Stardew Valley once with Stardew Valley Expanded installed to create a file called config.json in the \Mods\Stardew Valley Expanded\[CP] Stardew Valley Expanded folder.
Open this file in a text editor and change "false" to "true" to turn on a config option (or "true" to "false" to turn the option off).
This config.json file needs to be updated again when installing new versions of SVE. If manually updating, it is possible to copy the file from the old folder and paste it into the new folder. Forgetting to do this may permanently alter your save if a full in-game day passes and the game auto-saves.
