The Railroad is home to Emerald Farm, the Spa, the Adventurer's Guild graveyard, and the entrance to the Summit.

Due to a landslide, access to the Railroad is not available until after summer 3 of year 1 .

Foraging

The Railroad spawns the same forage as the original game, but due to the changes to the map this group of forage items may spawn on a larger number of tiles than the original Railroad.

In the first year, SVE adds between 1 and 3 extra forage items per day to the forage on the Mountain. These items de-spawn at the end of the day and new forage will spawn the next morning.

Extra forage that may appear are:

• In spring:
  Wild Horseradish,
  Daffodil,
  Leek,
  Dandelion,
  and
  Common Mushroom
• In summer:
  Spice Berry,
  Grape,
  Sweet Pea,
  Common Mushroom,
  and
  Red Mushroom
• In fall:
  Morel,
  Wild Plum,
  Blackberry,
  Hazelnut,
  Chanterelle,
  Common Mushroom,
  Red Mushroom,
  and
  Purple Mushroom
• In winter:
  Holly,
  Crystal Fruit,
  and
  Crocus

In addition to this, on the first day of spring during year 1, a Rapier weapon can be found to the left of the top of the stairs leading up to the cemetery. This lasts for 60 days before de-spawning, leaving plenty of time in summer of year 1 to find it. The sword does not appear for games that add SVE mid-play.
