Sandy has an updated schedule in Stardew Valley Expanded, and receives more of a backstory through events and dialog additions.

New Portrait

SVE changes Sandy's portrait to match the three-quarter style used by most of the other villagers of Stardew Valley. It was created by Poltergeister.

The original portrait can be used by opening the config.json file in the [CP] folder of the SVE mod pack and changing the "VanillaSandyPortraits" option from false to true.

Schedule

When the player reaches five hearts with Sandy, she begins visiting Stardew Valley on Saturdays and comes to Community Center Day on the 22nd, if the building is restored. On these days, the Oasis is still open, but her store counter will be closed.

Birthday

Sandy's birthday tour with Emily in the Desert has been altered to reflect the changes to the Desert map.

Festivals

After reaching 5 hearts with Sandy, she begins attending Pelican Town festivals. See the quotes section below for more information.

Description: Tour	The Farmer comes upon Emily and Sandy talking in Town. Emily says that Sandy is visiting her and that they were just about to come visit them on the farm. Sandy expresses interest in visiting the farm anyway, because she has never seen it. If accepted, the Farmer, Sandy, and Emily go to visit the farm and then tour the rest of the valley together. (+250 friendship) If refused, Sandy expresses disappointment and the event ends. Later, Emily tells the Farmer that she and Sandy visited the beach and the summit together.

Description: A Night Meeting	The Farmer finds Sandy by the bench near the Oasis. She says she was just about to warp home to Castle Village. She admits she could never see herself doing it. She then says that it's very late and she has to go.
