The Treasure Cave is found through an opening in the cliff face in the south-west corner of the Crimson Badlands. Caution must be taken when approaching, as the monster Apophis spawns nearby, and the cave is guarded by several high level Corrupt Mummies.
The first time the player enters the cave, a cutscene plays where a mysterious voice is overheard complimenting the Farmer on their ability to reach the cave.
At the back of the cave are nine chests. The eight outer chests can all be picked up like forage, while the center chest requires a key to open.
Forage[]
While not technically forage, the 8 Treasure Chests will re-appear up to 7 more times after, for a total of 64 possible chests. If sold, this amounts to 320,000g for all 64.
Locked Chest[]
When examined, the text notes there is a keyhole shaped like a Prismatic Shard. If the player returns with one, they receive the normally unobtainable Galaxy Slingshot.
Due to the way the chest is coded, returning with more Prismatic Shards will allow the player to get an infinite number of slingshots in return. This feature remains to let players regain the slingshot if it was lost or trashed.
